Hyundai is a company that understands that there’s more to a car than how much power the engine produces, or what sort of chassis the vehicle is built on. Like for example how many zombie’s legs can you cut off in one doughnut, or how much ammunition can you pack on to it before the suspension gives in.

With that other-worldly thinking in mind, the Korean car manufacturer approached Robert Kirkman, creator of the amazingly popular and disturbing comic “The Walking Dead” and asked him to kit out an Hyundai Elantra that would only be legal in his world of flesh-eating, brain-blown zombies. The project is called Hyundai Undead.

Some of the features Kirkman has included:
It has to have the horsepower to accelerate and speed but maintain the ability to maneuver ad gather supplies during the Apocalypse
You’re going to ramming a lot of undead flesh, so probably best to fit it with a massive scoop and ram on the front to protect as you plough through bodies
Blades on the wheels which spin like in a James Bond film
Protection against the Zombies in the form of metal plates on the windows
A guard rail fence around the sunroof so humans can pop their heads out and shoot at the uglies without getting chowed
An interior big enough to double as a living quarter

When the first thing out of the guys mouth during the interview is “I don’t know much about cars”…what do you expect?
