GoPro cameras pilots it’s own drone NEW GADGET

lehmann01

French aviators Lehmann have unleashed on the world a fully autonomous drone aircraft that holds two GoPro cameras at once, goes off filming and returns to the owner within 5 minutes of leaving.

It’s obviously been designed to capture HD recodrings from unhospitable places, at extreme heights. How high and inhospitable? 80-100 metres high and since it’s made of mostly carbon fibre and foam, , -25 degrees to 60 degrees celsius.

1kg heavy and a 1m wingspan.

iON video goggles

11111

Colorado-based company Zeal

has showed off the iON video goggles, and once you think about it you’ll agree that this idea is so much better than a Go Pro camera. Although, you’d probably look like a proper tonsil wearing these things while mountain-biking in the bush.

The goggles capture 1080p HD video, and 8MP photos with the onboard camera. iON also have anti-fog optics and an impact resistant frame, problems you’ll encounter while snowboarding the mountains of Colorado.

It shoots in wide-angle to catch as much action as possible.

iON has controls on the side which are operational even if you’re wearing thick gloves and it runs on a lithium-ion battery which is good for 3 hours of service.

Playback is possible on the device, and it can connect to social media like Facebook and Twitter.

Sony to take on Go Pro with their new sports camera

actioncamera1-488x370

Well we don’t know much at the moment, but what we do know is that Go Pro’s reign as the king of extreme sports video capture will soon be questioned by one of the world’s biggest electronics makers, Sony.

Not many specs have been released on the HD wearable video camera, but it is certain to include:
SteadyShot image stabilization technology
Exmor R CMOS image sensor
Ultra-wide angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens

I look forward to sharing with you the endless videos of people falling off of mountains and crashing into things that this camera will bring.
