Fresh out of the North American International Auto Show is the FT-1 Concept from Toyota, a car that they say is a sign of things to come from their future cars. This, they say, is what their new cars are going to look like.

The 86 was just the beginning then!

They say it’s the “spiritual pace car for a changing, evolving Toyota”, a more daring and aggressive future. Brilliant, I say. It’s time they started to compete with the others in desirability. They’ve got the reliability down, time to evolve.

Sliced, chopped, chisseled, sculted. Call it what you like. If I see one single angle like this on a Toyota, I’ll be damn impressed. That being said, it’s not for everyone.

No specs yet, but there are whisperings of rear-wheel drive and a turbo-less ICE. And the bonnet…see through with eyes on the engine.

Test drive it…virtually…in GT6.
