Now I know using an Mp3 player as your music solution is just sooooo 2000, and a non-iProduct makes it even more un-sexy, but I recently had a play with this teeny Sandisk Clip+, and if you’re after something petite, affordable and surprisingly rugged, this is a much better solution than the confusing iPod Shuffle.

Now when I say rugged, I’m not talking “out on the paintball field” sturdy, but rather reliable enough to strap inside your jogging pants and not weep when it gets covered in sweat and starts stinking.

Capacity comes in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB, and there’s also a record function.
